Religious ceremonies mark 27th Civil Service Day celebration

The Public Service Department, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) held a mass Asar and Sunnat Hajat prayers and Special Doa to mark the 27th Civil Service Day celebration at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, PMO.

Present were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, department heads and senior government officers and staff.

The Sunnat Hajat prayer was led by Haji Md Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran followed by the recitation of Special Doa.

Meanwhile, in the Belait District, the ceremony was held at RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque.

Permanent Secretary (Security, Welfare and Law) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud attended the ceremony. Mosque Affairs Officer and Head Imam of RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque Abdul Qayyuum bin Haji Aminnuddin led the prayers.

Also present were Legislative Council (LegCo) member and Penghulu of Mukim Liang Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin, LegCo member and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Labi 1 Yang Berhormat Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, Belait District Officer Ramlee bin Haji Jamudin, along with several officers from government departments in the Belait District.

In the Tutong District, the ceremony was attended by Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, while Permanent Secretary (Administration, Finance and Estate) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud attended the ceremony in the Temburong District.
