Five officers from various government agencies under the 29th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO), organised by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), presented contributions of over BND12,000 yesterday towards the One Village, One Product (1K1P) initiative for the Village Consultative Council (MPK) of Kampong Kapok and RPN Meragang, and Al-Minhaaj Centre.
The donation was received by Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman at the residence of the Acting Village Head of Kampong Kapok and RPN Meragang.
The donation was part of the Al-Markabah Community Outreach Programme to provide transportation for children of low-income families to school.
Meanwhile, the EDPMMO participants have been carrying out surveys since September 30 to collect feedback from low-income students regarding the efficacy of the community outreach programme in collaboration with MPK Kampong Kapok and RPN Meragang.
