Thirty officers from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), accredited Da’ie at the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) and members of mosque Takmir committees joined a one-day workshop, Liqa Da’ie, organised by the Dakwah Dissemination Division of PDI yesterday.
PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, in his welcoming address said the programme was among the many activities held by the centre to meet the strategic objectives of Brunei Vision 2035.
The programme, he added, was aimed at disseminating Dakwah and Islamic eminence while building up the number of competent da’ie.
The workshop also served as a medium for Da’ie to gather under one roof to brainstorm ways to enhance and strengthen Dakwah development in the country today, Haji Abdul Rajid said.
He also hoped that following the workshop, the Da’ie would be able to meet public expectation when delivering religious talks during Radio Television Brunei (RTB) programmes, at mosques and during major religious celebrations.
