With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, eight police officers of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) had their positions confirmed while another nine police officers were promoted to rank of Inspector of Police with effect from August 1.
A ceremony for the promotion and positions was held at the Officer’s Mess banquet hall of the Police Headquarters in Gadong recently.
Commissioner of police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police ACP Haji Mohammed Fadzillah bin Haji Ismail, directors and deputy directors as well as senior officers of the RBPF and the police officers’ family members were also present.
