The Ministry of Health (MoH) through its Policy and Planning Department and Healthcare Technology Department held a Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1442 Hijrah at the ministry’s Al-‘Afiah Hall on Saturday.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar was the guest of honour. The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Head of the Religious Unit of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Ustaz Nor Asilin bin Haji Putting.
This was followed by a special lecture titled ‘Membangun Dengan Akhlak Nabi Muhammad SAW’ by Dr Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
A Dikir Marhaban by the MoH’s Dikir group led by Haji Zaman bin Timbang enlivened the event. A Tahlil recitation for Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim was also held.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, deputy permanent secretaries, directors, officers and staff at the MoH were present.
Public Service Department

More than 200 officers and staff from the Public Service Department (JPA) attended a special lecture in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1442 Hijrah at the JPA building on Saturday.
Titled ‘Ummat Seribu Rahmat’, the lecture was delivered by Dr Muhammad Hilmy Baihaqy bin Haji Yussof of the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s (UNISSA) Faculty of Islamic Development Management.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a special lecture and a Dikir Asyraqal performance by the Public Service Department Dikir group.
Acting Director General of the Public Service Department Dr Norfarizal bin Othman was the guest of honour.
Acting Deputy Head of Public Service Hajah Noor Airah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, directors, senior officers, as well as officers and staff at the Public Service Department were
also present.
National Anti-Drug Association

The National Anti-Drug Association (BASMIDA) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1442 Hijrah at the residence of BASMIDA President Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Ali in Kampong Jerudong yesterday.
The ceremony began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah specially addressed for Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
It was followed with the recitation of Al-Quran verses in Juzuk ‘Amma from Surah Adh-Dhuhaa led by Hajah Asmah binti Paidi and recitation of Takhtim.
The Doa Khatam was read by Hajah Norjanah binti Haji Putera, and its translation by Datin Hajah Masni.
Ustazah Norhayati binti Haji Abdul Rahman of the Islamic Da’wah Centre delivered a religious talk on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
BASMIDA Vice-President Hajah Linda Aini binti Abdullah was also present.
PERBEKAL

In commemorating the Maulidur Rasul celebration for 1442 Hijrah, Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL), Kampong Lambak Berakas Mosque Takmir Committee and Kampong Lambak community held a religious ceremony at the Kampong Lambak Berakas Mosque on Saturday.
Those who had contributed to welfare activities in Kampong Lambak, former leaders and PERBEKAL members participated.
Former PERBEKAL member Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pengiran Haji Saiful Rizal bin Pengiran Haji Razali was present, along with senior government officers who had contributed to village development.
