HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) yesterday morning received in audience Dr Ng Eng Hen, the Republic of Singapore’s Minister for Defence.
Dr Ng Eng Hen is in Brunei Darussalam for an official visit commemorating the 40th Anniversary of bilateral defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore. Among others, the purpose of the visit is to discuss bilateral defence relations and exchange views on regional and international matters.
Accompanying Dr Ng Eng Hen were Lim Hong Huai, Singapore’s High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam; Lieutenant General Dato Paduka Seri Perry Lim, Chief of Defence Force, Singapore Armed Forces; Ng Chee Khern, Permanent Secretary (Defence Development); and Rear Admiral Lai Chung Han, Chief of the Republic of Singapore Navy.
Also present were First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, the Deputy Minister of Defence; Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the RBAF; and Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.
The audience ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.
