Graduations mark milestone for students

Riverside School

Kindergarten 3 and Year 6 graduates of Riverside School in Kampong Sungai Matan and Kampong Masin attended a ceremony of the school branch in Kampong Sungai Matan recently.

The event also saw the school share its strategies and plans in achieving its newly launched mission and vision under the administration of its Managing Director Hajah Amas binti Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Yusof.

A new kindergarten wing at Riverside School Sungai Matan was also announced and officiated at the ceremony.

Stella’s School

Stella’s School yesterday held a ‘drive-thru’ ceremony for Year 6 students at its premises in Sungai Akar.

To mark the success in the Primary School Assessment (PSR) Examination, the students were feted in the one-of-a-kind graduation event, in the presence of their families.

Teachers cheered as cars entered the school compound. The graduates and their families received the certificates, took photos and then went back into the car. A number of cars were also donned in decorative items to mark the occasion.

Jigsaw Primary School

Jigsaw Primary School held two separate graduation ceremonies for its Kindergarten 3 and Year 6 graduates at the school hall recently.

Principal and CEO Helen Chin, COO and Medical Advisor Dr Jimmy Chin, Board of Directors member Haji Khalid bin Haji Abdul Rahman and Private and Confidential Secretary to the COO Natasha Chin attended.

The ceremony was divided into two sessions with the Year 6 graduation in the morning and Kindergarten 3 in the afternoon.

Two hundred people, including students, teachers and parents attended the morning event and 240 joined the afternoon session.

Eleven categories of certificates and tokens of appreciation were presented to the graduates as well as Kindergarten 3 and Year 6 teachers.

Among the certificates presented were Best in Subject, Perseverance Award, Best Reader and Top Student.
