A local duo was produced in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday to face charges of armed robbery, in connection with the leaked CCTV footage at a goldsmith recently.

DPP Raihan Nabilah binti Haji Ahmad Ghazali pressed charges against Rosizan bin Jumat 38, alleging him of having committed armed robbery at a Kampong Tanjong Bunut goldsmith at 7pm on December 12, making away with nine gold necklaces.

Norziana binti Nordin, 37, is alleged to have dealt with two gold necklaces, that are stolen property from the robbery.

The prosecution informed Magistrate Mohammad Marzuqi bin Sabtu that the case is still undergoing investigations.

The court ordered for the further remand of the duo and adjourned the case to December 31.

The suspects were captured on CCTV
