Understanding religious enforcement

Thirty students from the Faculty of Shariah and Law (FSL) along with the Organising Committees of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) went on a visit to Religious Enforcement Divison at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).

The students were briefed by Deputy Head of Religious Enforcement Haji Zuneidy bin Jumat, Syar’ie Prosecutor Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Ahmad and Religious Officer from the Islamic Legal Unit of the MoRA Saadatul Nazaha binti Haji Saiful Ashura.

The presentations covered the job scope of the officers at department.

The officers also shared their experiences during a question-and-answer session.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation consisting of books The Shariah Penal Code: An Introduction, Syariah Penal Code 2013 and Syariah Courts Criminal Procedure Code Order 2018 from the Religious Enforcement Division to the students.
