Public tip-off ends jewellery robbers’ run

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) managed to trace and apprehend Muhammad Noh bin Mohd Idham and Mohammad Amirul Alif bin Ali, the two main suspects believed to have carried out an armed robbery of a goldsmith in the Kampong Tanjung Bunut commercial area on 12th December 2020.

Acting Head of Major Crimes Investigation Division, Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of RBPF Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Haji Mohamad Khairul Amilin bin Haji Idris at a press conference on Sunday said that the suspects were detained on Saturday night in two separate districts.

Muhammad Noh was captured in housing residential area in Tutong District while Mohammad Amirul Alif was arrested at commercial area of Sungai Liang, Belait District.
