Wargamas Brunei held a 74 times Khatam Al-Quran ceremony held in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 74th birth anniversary.
The event was held at Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong on December 27.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi.
The ceremony continued with participants reading Al-Quran verses followed by the recitation of Takhtim as well as Doa Khatam by Hajah Norjainah binti Haji Putera.
