The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei Darussalam honoured its martyrs with the unveiling of the Memorial to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Martyrs at the embassy in Kampong Kiarong yesterday.
Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam Homeira Rigi Zirouki officiated the memorial wall at the embassy in the presence of several Iranian diplomats.
According to the embassy, the photos of several prominent martyrs, including Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and General Haji Qasim Soleimani, are on display.
The embassy said that Iran sees itself as one of the biggest advocates of anti-extremism and counter-terrorism, and is actively engaging regional and international multilateral organisations in its fight against terrorism.
