THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday honoured 24 retired officers including former Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Bahrin bin Mohd Noor at function held at the Banquet Hall of the Gadong Police Officers’ Mess.
Present as chief guest was Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam along with Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police SAC Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, who chairs the Officers’ Mess committee.
Officers in service were also present to commemorate their seniors’ contributions to the force.
Retired Senior Super-intendent of Police Sharazuddin bin Haji Masri delivered a speech on behalf of the retired officers to show their appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for gracing the event.
President of PEKERTI (Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families) Datin Hajah Kamariah binti Haji Abdul Hamid also attended the event and handed mementos to the retired women officers and retired officers’ wives.
