The Impiana Group held a donation ceremony at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam on Friday.
Executive Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini binti Pengiran Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin received the donation on behalf of the centre.
The donation came from the Impiana 1.0 art exhibition, a charity event that showcased over 100 paintings of various genres from 11 local artists.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong officiated the exhibition, which coincided with the December Festival and
held from December 27, 2020 to January 3, 2021, at Mabohai Shopping Complex.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hamlatul Arsy Mulia binti His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, Pengiran Abdul Wahab Hassan Al-Abbas, Haji Padzil bin Haji Ahmad, Kassim bin Ismail, Haji Mahaddi bin Haji Matzain, Pengiran Omarali bin Pengiran Haji Mahari, Haji Bahrain bin Haji Bolhassan, Alias bin Assat, Haji Rusli bin Haji Kadir,
Zakaria bin Omar and Rashidah binti Yusof were among the participating artists comprising nine veterans and two youth artists.
The concept for the arts were based on the national philosophy of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB).
The event aimed to encourage the society to appreciate arts and see the country and its beauty through the paintings.
