The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) organised a forum on Istiqamah Dalam Menjalankan Tugas Kerana Allah, in conjunction with the RBPF’s 100th anniversary at the Banquet Hall of the Police Officer’s Mess in Gadong on Thursday.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali attended as the guest of honour. Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police ACP Haji Mohammed Fadzillah bin Haji Ismail and RBPFs’ senior officers, personnel and civilian staff were also present.
Forum chairman and Imam of the Police Gadong Headquarters Surau APO Sergeant Mohd Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar, along with Dr Haji Hambali bin Haji Jaili of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Haji Fansuri Sharimi @ Mansur bin Mohamad Ali of Ministry of Religious Affairs, delivered speeches as forum panellists.
The event educated the attending members on living a life based on the Islamic perspective.
It emphasised the importance of instilling istiqamah within Muslims to always be grateful, sincere and have the right intentions to earn Allah the Almighty’s blessings.
