A Tedarus Al-Quran opening ceremony was held in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) Diamond Jubilee at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison yesterday.
The ceremony was also held simultaneously in suraus across other RBAF camps.
Commander of the RBAF Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat was the guest of honour. RBAF Joint Force Commander Brigadier General Haji Abdul Razak bin Abdul Kadir, officers and RBAF personnel were also present.
The Tedarus Al-Quran opening ceremony was officiated by the Commander of the RBAF with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam before concluding with a mass Asar prayer led by Imam of Surau Ad-Difa Suhif @ Syu’aib bin Haji Abdullah.
