The 194th edition of the 14-day Basic Guidance Scheme for Female Converts concluded with a closing ceremony at the multipurpose hall of Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) yesterday.
Head of Planning, Research and Publication Section at PDI of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajah Middeni binti Haji Lamat presented certificates to the 18 female converts.
The converts completed their 10-day Introduction to Islam Guidance Scheme before parti-cipating in the Basic Guidance Scheme course.
In Belait District, 18 female converts completed the Basic Muallaf Guidance Course at the district’s Islamic Da’wah Centre.
Head of the Dakwah Unit in the Belait District Zikrinaidah binti Haji Mat Dikir presented the certificates.
The course is aimed at disseminating information about the Islamic faith, including Iqra, Ibadat, Tauhid and Hafalan, as well as practical activities and examinations.
The compulsory course began on February 16 involving five tutors from Islamic Da’wah Centre.
