The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) held a special gathering that saw a poetry presentation and other performances to mark the 37th National Day at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School recently.
The gathering saw a poetry recital by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, who read ‘Pesan Nini Kepada Cucu tentang Kemerdekaan‘ and ‘Lewat Gerbang Kemerdekaan‘.
The officers and staff of the Islamic Studies Department also conducted a tausyeh performance and the officers and staff of the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) led hadrah performances. In his remarks, Acting Director of Administration at the MoRA Mohd Sofian bin Haji Basri said the special gathering acted as a platform to jointly express gratefulness to Allah the Almighty for peace and prosperity in the Sultanate.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Permanent Secretary at MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, and Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar.
