The library of the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC) in collaboration with the Museums Department organised a Handicraft Competition – Brunei Traditional Games for students and staff of the institute recently.
The competition aimed at introducing traditional games through handicraft, while providing exposure to ways of playing traditional games.
It also served to foster spirit of teamwork and cooperation among students, and to enhance creativity in constructing the games using recycled materials.
IBTE JBC Operation Manager Hajah Hanita binti Haji Hussain, Academic Manager Rosmah binti Haji Salman and representatives from the Museums Department were present.
The event also saw a demonstration of various traditional games and playstyles.
