The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) through its Islamic Religious Body (BUI) organised a religious ceremony to commemorate the Israk Mikraj celebration at the RBPF Conference Hall in Gadong, on Monday.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohd Jefri bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid, RBPF’s director and deputy director, commanding officers of police districts, heads of formations, senior officers, officers, personnel and staff were also present.
The event began with a mass Sunnat Hajat prayer, followed by a talk on ‘Iman Kukuh, Aqidah Kukuh’ by Assistant Lecturer at the Usuluddin Faculty of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Haji Mohammad Khairul Nazif bin Haji Damit.
The event concluded with a recitation of Doa Selamat and a mass Asar prayer.
