In preparation for the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme launch, the Ministry of Health (MoH) organised a Muzakarah session for penghulus, village heads and Senior Citizen Activity Centre members in Temburong District yesterday.
The programme will be implemented in phases, with senior citizens aged 60 years and above receiving the vaccine in the first phase.
The briefing, held at the Temburong District Civic Centre, aimed to clear any doubts and answer inquiries as well as provide information on the vaccine.
Some 200 participants attended the briefing facilitated by officer from Temburong Health Department Dr Hajah Martina Melati binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Kifrawi.
The MoH will hold similar sessions at Muhibbah Hall in Brunei-Muara District on Monday and Tuesday, and at Senior Citizen Activity Centre in Lambak Kanan for members of the centre and Persatuan Wargamas Brunei on Wednesday.
