A food festival opened for the first time at the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital yesterday.
Dubbed ‘Bandar Street Food’, the event was officiated by Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong who marked the opening with the cutting of a traditional Malay food.
The event features local entrepreneurs selling a variety of food and beverages.
Several activities will enliven the festival including children’s games, horse riding, nerf and archery, birds and reptile shows and go kart.
Family-themed movies are also screened throughout the event (except tonight).
Organised by Starbugs Event Management in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the event will be held until March 28.
