Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), in collaboration with the Secretariat Office of the Malay Islam Monarchy (MIB) Supreme Council, will hold a symposium from April 10-20.
This was announced by KUPU SB Core Education Centre Director Kharhan bin Haji Jait at the university college’s Hikmah Room.
Themed Brunei Darussalam Negara Zikir Melayu Islam Beraja, the symposium will be held at the university college’s Tarbiyyah Hall.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned will be keynote speakers.
Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, member of the Privy Council Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Umar and Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Besar will be forum panellists.
The symposium will have MIB showcase, kite, gasing, archery and pencak silat exhibitions as side events.
