A Tahlil for the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman was held yesterday by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).
The Tahlil was also for Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
The religious gathering took place at the Multaqa Hall of MoRA.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman was present.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar and Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim were also present.
The event began with Asar prayers, followed by recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah led by officer of the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque at the Mosque Affairs Department Zulkifli bin Haji Murat.
