A Doa Kesyukuran ceremony marked the return of two Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) officers at the Bolkiah Garrison yesterday.
The two officers returned to the country on March 10 after serving 13 months as part of the Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT) 2/2020 in Mindanao, the Philippines.
The contingent was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Hanafi Azami bin Nayan, together with Captain (U) Mohammad Aliff bin Haji Zulkifli.
Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, RBAF Commander Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, military and civilian officers, and staff of the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF attended the event.
