SCOUTS Trainers Junaidi bin Haji Hussin and Zainudin bin Haji Ishak yesterday conducted a knowledge sharing workshop for 80 scouts committee members, following their participation in the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Workshop.
In his welcoming speech, PPNBD Chief Commissioner cum guest of honour Haji Badar bin Haji Awang Ali emphasised the need for cooperation and knowledge sharing among scouts.
The workshop hopes to inspire participants to analyse various Scouting methods and philosophies, and explore theories while at the same time employ leadership application into the Scout model that correlates with Scouting methods.
The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) sent the two Scouts trainers to participate in the four-day Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop recently, which saw the participation of over 50 Scout trainers from 15 different countries from the Asia-Pacific.
Its main objective was to gather trainers from international scouts organisations for knowledge sharing of ideas on how to create better, more effective scouting methods.
