Their Majesties grant audience to Thai PM, wife

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam yesterday received in audience General (Rtd) Prayut Chan-O-Cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and wife, Associate Professor Naraporn Chan-O-Cha at the Astor Ballroom 2, The St Regis Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok.

Present at the audience ceremony were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as other members of the royal family.

The delegation of General (R) Prayut Chan-O-Cha included General Prawit Wongsuwon, Deputy Prime and Minister of Defence; Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs and wife; General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Energy; Atchaka Sibunruang, Minister of Industry; and General (Rtd) Wilas Aroonsri, Secretary General to the Prime Minister.

During the audience ceremony, His Majesty and General (Rtd) Prayut Chan-O-Cha exchanged views on bilateral relations and efforts to enhance cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand, as well as regional and international matters of mutual concern.

Their Majesties then proceeded to attend a dinner hosted by General (Rtd) Prayut Chan-O-Cha and wife at the The St Regis Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok.

The dinner was made merrier by the presentation of a birthday cake to Her Majesty by General (Rtd) Prayut Chan-O-Cha and wife.
