“IT WAS a sensational experience!” said Himesadeja binti Adenan@Adinin, who won the Standard Chartered Bank’s Mid-Year Lucky Draw promotion on Friday.
The draw attended by Eng Siok Tin, Head of Client Relationships, Standard Chartered Bank and Alfred So, General Manager of Jati Transport, was held at the Jati Transport showroom in Gadong.
Eng Siok Tin said, “We are excited to offer this promotion as a way to reward our customers for choosing Standard Chartered and we intend to continue offering exciting promotions and rewards as part of our continuous efforts to keep things fresh and exciting.”
The event was also attended by 10 finalists of the draw, accompanied by their families.
Himesadeja said that when she was informed of her selection in the final lucky draw, she felt confident, knowing she had the same chance to win as the other selected finalists.
As she turned the key on the ignition of the Mercedes C-Class Coupe and the engine roared to life, a sense of excitement overwhelmed her. Himesadeja’s husband Muhammad Ali bin Haji Abdul Hamid rushed forward to hug and congratulate her for winning the car.

A few of the other finalists had turned on dummy keys before her turn came.
But the other nine finalists did not walk away in vain; they each brought home a Hua Ho shopping voucher worth $200.
Standard Chartered credit card clients earned chances for the draws with every $50 spent on their credit card during the promotional period.
Clients who shopped online during the promotional period earned double chances for every $50 spent.
Prior to the grand draw, 10 finalists were randomly selected, witnessed by Standard Chartered Bank’s Head of Legal and Compliance, Head of Retail Products and Segment and Head of Client Relationship.
