SUGARBUN Brunei last night held its Annual Dinner with the theme ‘International’ to highlight how staff from different countries and cultures can work together to achieve the best performance.
The function was held at the Parkview Hotel in Jerudong.
In her welcoming speech, SugarBun’s Managing Director Chan Fui Meng congratulated all the staff members of SugarBun outlets for achieving a score of more than 85 per cent during hygiene inspections, as well as constantly maintaining the high quality of food prepared and cleanliness of the stores, while providing exceptional customer services.
She also said that SugarBun Brunei will be spreading its wings and open an eighth store in the Tutong District on November 22, which will provide job opportunities to school-leavers and for existing staff a career growth path to be in the management level.
“In this current market, competition in the fast food restaurant (sector) will always be there,” she added.
“We may not reach the financial target, but we will ensure that there is a budget for staff welfare, such as providing training and developing the staff with management skills and product knowledge.”
The highlight of last night’s event was a presentation of awards, including for the best performance store, which went to SugarBun Manggis, followed by SugarBun Rimba in second place.
