Nippon Maru, the ship that will carry the 330 participating youths, will sail to Asean member countries starting with Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam as their first port of call, followed by Thailand and Indonesia, before ending in Japan.

The SSEAYP programme is an annual activity initiated in 1974, sponsored by the Japanese Government and supported by Asean member countries. The programme provides youths with unique opportunities to interact with others on board the Nippon Maru and at different ports of call.
