DARE (Darussalam Enterprise) announced yesterday that it has expanded its Business Support Centre by opening up a new branch in Kuala Belait (KB).
In a press release, it is stated, “To further improve the business ecosystem in the Sultanate and to ease the transactions made by our local enterprises on any business related matters in other districts, DARE is pleased to announce that it is opening up a Business Support Centre (BSC) branch in KB.”
Located at the ground floor of the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Department building, where the Business Faciltiation Centre was previously running, BSC KB began its operation yesterday, and will play the same role as the BSC and the Design & Technology Building in Anggerek Desa, which aims to be an action centre for individuals, entrepreneurs and enterprises to assist them with any business-related matters.
At this initial stage of its operation, the agencies offering services at BSC KB include DARE’s Business Help Desk, the Ministry of Home Affairs for the renewal of business licences for health and beauty establishments as well as the Cottage Industry and Cooperatives Division of the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The press release also shares that, for the meantime, DARE’s Business Help Desk will open two days a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, from 8.30am until 3.30pm with a lunch break form 12pm until 2pm. Opening hours for other agencies will be from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, from 8am until 4.30pm, with lunch break from 12pm until 2pm.
In the near future, DARE is looking to expand the services provided at BSC KB, including OneBiz and other relevant agencies.
DARE is a statutory body that aims to nurture and support local enterprises from start-up to growth.
