HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, yesterday morning received in separate audiences the newly-appointed ambassador of Brunei Darussalam and foreign envoys.
His Royal Highness first received in audience Hajah Johariah binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of the Philippines.
Hajah Johariah previously served as Director of the Asean Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The newly-appointed ambassador received her Letter of Credence from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on October 25, 2016.
His Royal Highness then received in audiences the newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
His Royal Highness first received in audience Ouk Chandara, Ambassador of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam. Ouk Chandara previously served as Director of the Information and Documentation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cambodia.
His Royal Highness then received in audience Nicola Rosenblum, High Commissioner of Australia to Brunei Darussalam. Nicola Rosenblum had served as Director of Humanitarian Operations Section, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia.
Shortly after, His Royal Highness received in audience Major General (Rtd) Tariq Rashid Khan, High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam. Major General (Retired) Tariq Rashid Khan previously held the post of Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence Production, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam presented their Letters of Credence to His Majesty on October 25, 2016.
The ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.
