Bringing joy to special needs students at Pusat Bahagia

ROYAL Brunei Catering (RBC) Sdn Bhd hosted a charity event for the special needs students at Pusat Bahagia in Tutong District as part of giving back to the community and bringing smiles to the students.

Present to support the cause were Desmond Koh, Deputy High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, and Pengiran Haji Haris bin Pengiran Haji Duraman, Managing Director of Riza Group. Also present at the ceremony were Haji Adnan bin Haji Adam, Acting Tutong District Officer; Abdul Rahman bin Haji Apong, Deputy Director of Community Development; and Noryani binti Haji Abdul Rani, Assistant Director Department of Community Development.

In his welcoming speech, Ahmad Husaini bin Hassan, General Manager of Royal Brunei Catering spoke of charity projects done by RBC.

“The RBC charity event is part of our yearly social corporate responsibility programme where we aim at strengthening relations between RBC and trainers at Pusat Bahagia Tutong,” he said.

The event continued with a showcase from trainees with special needs, the donation of sewing machines to Pusat Bahagia which was received by Noryani, and presentation of goodie bags to all 50 special needs students.
