WANDERERS Softball Club have been crowned champions of the President’s Cup.
Wanderers edged Zombies 3-2 in the page system semifinal to leave the latter with the bronze medal.
Wanderers then overpowered Black Arrows in the final, romping to a 13-3 victory after five innings.
Jamil @ Muda Haji Ahmad, team manager and coach of Wanderers Softball Club, said the win was due to teamwork and the hard work put in during pre-season.
“Alhamdulillah, our hardwork paid off. We trained hard and played hard but without forgetting to have fun. These were key to our win. With teamwork, everything comes easily.
“I express my gratitude to all Wanderers players for all the hardwork and for giving 100 per cent in the field,” he said.
