THE Ministry of Health yesterday held the ‘Cycle 4 Men’s Health 2016’ in conjunction with Men’s Health Awareness Month, marked in November.
The event aimed to promote healthy lifestyle, give the public the opportunity to be active in sporting activities and, at the same time, support the ministry’s vision of moving ‘Together Towards Healthy Citizen.’
The event saw the participation of 250 people.
It started and ended at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital, covering a distance of 61km.
The Cycle 4 Men’s Health 2016 helped enliven the ‘Bandarku Ceria’ car-free Sunday initiative.
Present at the event were Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Awang Dr Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy) at the Ministry of Health Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the Ministry of Health Dr Hajah Maslina binti Haji Mohsin and other ministerial officials.
