SIXTY-YEAR-old Wasli bin Haji Hamid wishes to gift his brand new Hyundai Accent he won yesterday during the grand draw of the Pan Bright Travel Service ‘Win a Car’ promotion, to his young daughter.
The grand draw took place at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club.
Present to hand over the mock key to Wasli was Johnnie Cheong, General Manager of Pan Bright Travel Service.
The event also saw seven other winners receiving return economy class ticket to various destinations sponsored by the Royal Brunei Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and Singapore Airlines.
Nur Ameerah Syaheerah binti Abdul Muhaimin and Junit bin Zakaria, both won themselves return air tickets to London while Haji Salleh bin Haji Bujang won return air ticket to Beijing. Matther Gould received return air ticket to Sydney, while Md Safwan Shahdan got return air ticket to Melbourne. Haji Md Ismail bin Haji Razak won return air ticket to Bangkok while Norsah tinggal received air ticket to Bali.

The tickets to London, Melbourne and Bali were presented by Evelyn Ang, Country Manager for Brunei of the Royal Brunei Airlines, while the tickets to London, Sydney and Bangkok were presented by Siti Bibi Haszlina, Station Head of Airport Services of the Malaysia Airlines. Aldrin Arumugam, General Manager of Brunei of the Singapore Airlines, presented the ticket to Beijing.
Johnnie Cheong said, “We would like to congratulate the winners. We also take this opportunity to thank all of our customers and this promotion is our initiative to give back to our customers for their continuous support.”
Speaking to the media, Wasli Haji Hamid expressed his gratitude and happiness for winning the brand new car.
He said that during the promotion, he bought a ticket from Pan Bright Travel Service to Indonesia and he did not expect that he will become the grand winner of the promotion.
“I wish to present this car to my young daughter who has just received her driving licence for her convenience as she is currently studying at Sultan Bolkiah Vocational School.”
