HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah, the President of the Brunei Darussalam’s Girl Guides Association, yesterday morning received the Working Committee of the Friends of Asia Pacific World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (FAPW) at Istana Nurul Iman.
Amongst the Working Committee of FAPW present during the audience ceremony were: Dr Juseon Byun, Advisor of FAPW from the Republic of Korea; Susan Locsin, Chairperson of FAPW from the Republic of the Philippines; Helen Hargreaves, Deputy Chairperson of FAPW from Australia; Junko Sato, a member from Japan; and, Peggy Lee Fook Tai, a member from Hong Kong SAR.
Also present was Hajah Siti Hafsah binti Haji Abdul Halim, Chief Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam’s Girl Guides Association.
The delegation is in the country for a meeting with the Administrative Committee of Brunei Darussalam’s Girl Guides Association for the preparation of ‘The 5th General Assembly FAPW’, which will be held in Brunei in March 2017.
