A DELEGATION of six people from Guangxi International Youth Exchange Student Institute, China recently made a courtesy call to Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) building.
The delegation led by Weng Hua, a representative of China Guangxi International Youth Exchange Institute was on a six-day visit to Brunei to meet and share experiences with the Asean Young Leaders Training Programme (AYLTP) alumni.
Also present were Permanent Secretaries at the MCYS, Dato Paduka Dr Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin and Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil as well as the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, Yang Jian.
During their visit, the delegation paid a visit to the Youth Development Centre, Kampong Ayer and Kampong Sungai Matan among many other places.
