A BIG crowd waited in a long queue that reached up to the entrance door outside the trendy cafe, before they witnessed the soft opening of the Magnum Bandar Seri Begawan in Citis Square, Berakas, last Thursday.
Known for its premium Belgian chocolate brand, Magnum revealed its new ice-cream store to pleasure seekers who gave an enthusiastic response to the first Magnum franchise in the country, on the first day of its opening.
Among the invited guests at the opening ceremony were members of the Board of Directors of Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd; Ainadin Cader, Chief Investment Officer of Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd; Junaidi bin Haji Masri, Acting Managing Director of Brunei Investment Agency; Ministry of Finance, fashion bloggers and members of the media.
The highlight of that day was the chance to experience coustomised ‘Make-my-Magnum’(MMM)ice cream, the main attraction at the Magnum Café, which was given away to the first 250 people present at the event. The customisation of ‘Make-my-Magnum’ is a six-step process.
It has a wide variety of toppings that range from nuts or marshmallows to more exotic rose petals, chilli flakes or sea salt.
Goji berries are also available as topping. Customers can also choose their Magnum naked ice cream flavour with their choice of coating. For a final flourishment, the MMM is drizzled with a finishing touch of the ‘M’ coin.
Magnum Bandar Seri Begawan also creates Magnum signature plated desserts such as the Magnum Trifle, Magnum Cendol and Magnum Fondue to name a few.
Savoury items like Mushroom Soup, Magnum Wings, Chicken Caesar Salad, Spicy Crab Spaghetti and Chicken and Salted Egg Spaghetti are other attractions at the cafe.
The brand is definitely a perfect treat during casual outing with friends, high tea with family and a way to end your day by treating yourself with Magnum for supper.
