New Coffee Bean outlet opens at RIPAS Hospital

VISITORS and patients at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital can now enjoy some coffee and light food of The Coffee Bean Brunei’s newest café outlet located at the main lobby of the hospital.

The Coffee Bean Brunei outlet at RIPAS Hospital is open from 7am to 11pm.

The official opening took place yesterday, officiated by guest of honour Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Mun’im bin Pengiran Anak Haji Tahiruddin, the Managing Director of The Coffee Bean Brunei, and Haji Mohd Khairul Anuar bin Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Haji Hasrin, Chief Operating Officer of RIPAS Hospital.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Ustaz Haji Mohd Emmarul bin Haji Azamain, followed by welcoming remarks by The Coffee Bean Brunei General Manager.

It was followed by a cheque presentation to three charitable organi-sations namely Centre for Children with Special Needs, SMARTER Brunei and Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, from the Caring Cup Fund with a total amount of $3,000.

The Coffee Bean Brunei also presented a cheque to the Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council from the funds that were raised in conjunction with World’s AIDS Day where five per cent of every purchase of Ice Blended was channelled to the Caring Cup Fund, amounting to $300.

Liyana Latif, Vice President (Activities and Events), Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council, who expressed appreciation on behalf of the council for choosing it as one of the beneficiaries of the donation under the Caring Cup Programme, noted that they are thrilled that The Coffee Bean Brunei is supporting their HIV advocacy and awareness programmes.
