DPMM FC began their Bangkok tour with a 2-2 draw against Thai League side Navy Football Club at the Navy Stadium yesterday.
The club latest recruit Billy Mehmet made his debut for the Brunei-based side following his move from S League rivals Tampines Rovers FC.
Three foreign players who are currently still in trial with the club also featured in the starting line-up namely Ivan Futsar of Croatia, Zesh Rehman of the United Kingdom and Francois Christian Herve of France.
The other foreign player, Bidari Garcia De Cortazar Megias of Spain, picked up an injury during training but could play a part in their next friendly match against Rayong FC today.
The Brunei side established the lead before Brazilian striker Rafael Ramazotti- whose services has been retained for the upcoming season- put his name in the scoresheet.
However after withdrawing all local players including Wardun for the second half, the Thai side found the net twice to salvage a 2-2 draw.
The head coach selected locals Hendra Azam, Najib Tarif, Azwan Salleh, Maududi Hilmi Kasmi and Azwan Ali as well as first-choice goalkeeper Wardun Yussof in the starting line-up.
