THE Pakistani High Commission in Brunei Darussalam yesterday launched its Pakistani Arts and Culture Exhibition at the Art Gallery of Dermaga Diraja in the capital.
The exhibit will be held until April 30 and features works of arts depicting the Pakistani culture – ranging from handicrafts, paintings and national attires.
A welcoming speech was delivered by Brigadier (Rtd) Muhammad Zareef Malik, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam, before the guest of honour Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, officiated the launch.
The minister then toured the exhibit, which was displayed in sections based on the provinces from which the crafts originated.
The exhibit will be open to public from 9am to 7pm.
