A TOTAL of 37 personnel from the Tutong and Lamunin Police Stations of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted a roadblock and ‘Stop and Search’ operation last Saturday night.
The operation, led by P/ASP Dayangku Nor Azriani binti Pengiran Anuar was conducted in three locations – Jalan Kupang KM 28, Bukit Panggal Highway and Kampong Layong, Lamunin.
In Zone I at KM 28 Jalan Kupang, the police personnel issued one compound for one vehicle with non-functional horn.
In Zone II at Bukit Panggal Highway, police personnel issued one docket for expired road tax and three compounds to three vehicles for not showing white lights.
In Zone III at Kampong Layong Lamunin, six compounds were issued, which include three vehicles with non-functioning registration plate lights, one vehicle with no pneumatic tyres, one vehicle with non-functioning brake lights and one vehicle that did not bear a road tax.
