THE Brunei DPMM FC MatchDay Magazine Carnival 2017 was officially marked with an opening ceremony at Car Park ‘B’ of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium yesterday.
The guest of honour at the event was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof.
Sazali Mohd Ariff, Chief Executive of AKK Design highlighted that the Brunei DPMM MatchDay Magazine Carnival 2017 is made possible by a very successful cooperation between the management of Brunei DPMM FC, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Home Affairs, AKK Design as the event organiser and Living Moments Brunei as the event manager.
Meanwhile, Noor Rohaya Arun, General Manager of Living Moments Brunei, said that the recommended must visits are the meet and greet session with the 2017 Brunei DPMM FC team, UBD v UTB Street Soccer Challenge, motivational talk and forum, Projek Ikan Pusu football clinic, human foosball, ‘football commentary’ competition, foot darts, sports quiz as well as photographic opportunities with the mascot Awang Budiman.
There were also special appearances by the Royal Brunei Police Force Cadet Band and Awang Budiman, the official mascot of the 1999 SEA Games in Brunei.
The Brunei DPMM FC MatchDay Magazine Carnival 2017 is organised by AKK Design with the support of Brunei DPMM FC and the Department of Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
