BRUNEI Darussalam Schools Sports Council (MSSSBD), led by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Raheemah Sanaul Bolkiah binti Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Rahim, remained undefeated to emerge as champions of the Fun Netball Friendlies Series 2017 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Sports Complex in Berakas yesterday.
Five teams participated in the tournament – Brunei Darussalam Schools Sports Council (MSSSBD), Baiduri Bank Berhad (BBRC), Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), Top Fighters and Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS).
Baiduri Bank finished second followed by Standard Chartered Bank.
Attiyah As’ad binti Pehin Dato Haji Mohd Jaafar presented the prizes.
Coach of MSSSBD, Rosni binti Yahya, said she was happy with the team’s performance.

“The players are from the Co-Curriculum Education Sports Scheme.
“We hope the team can develop with more training.
“Then we could be ready to join future tournaments.
“The girls are much improved since the exposure matches, especially after the friendly match against Sri Lanka recently.”
