YOUTHS from the Ministry of Education and a PhD graduate will participate in the Asean Youth Leaders’ Preparatory Meeting for the 2017 Asean Summit and Asean Youth Leaders’ Interface with Asean Leaders in Manila, Philippines from April 26 – 29.
The members of the delegation are Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Administration Officer at the Ministry of Education and former participant of Singapore-Brunei Youth Leader Exchange Programme and Dr Andery Lim, a PhD graduate in Energy Studies and former participant of Ship for Southeast Asia Youth Programme.
Present to bid farewell at the Brunei International Airport was Haji Rosmadee bin Haji Mohd Daud, Acting Director of Youth Development and Sports, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The two-day Asean Youth Leaders’ Preparatory Meeting for the 2017 Asean Summit and the Youth Interface with the Asean Leaders will take place in conjunction with the 30th Asean Summit from April 26 – 29 in Pasay
City. Participants will attend workshops on entrepreneurship, employment, volunteerism, global mobility and climate change.
They will also attend the opening ceremony of the 30th Asean Summit at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
