THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Inter-Branch A Badminton Tournament concluded at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium at the (RBPF) headquarters in Gadong recently.
Assistant Commisioner Pengiran Haji Muhammad and Deputy Superintendent Mohammad Noor were crowned champions of the Special Officer Men’s Doubles event after defeating Assistant Superintendent Shamsulariffin and Senior Inspector Adinin 2-0 (21-9, 21-16) in the final.
Senior Inspector Pengiran Haji Yusra and Senior Inspector Muhammad Kenny took third place.
Sergeant Mohd Nawawi and Lance Corporal Siti Norasmah were champions of the Mixed Doubles, defeating Assistant Superintendent Rumaizah and Senior Inspector Adinin 2-0 (21-9, 21-12) in the final.
Staff Sergeant Muhd Azlan and Lance Corporal Noor Nekma finished third.
Corporal Pengiran Haji Muhammad and Mohd Yusaini won the Veteran Men’s Doubles when they edged Inspector Muhd Hadi and Sergeant Mohd Nawawi 2-1 (21-13, 20-21, 21-16) in the final.
Acting Staff Sergeant Philip and Lance Corporal Tan settled for third.
Corporal Pengiran Haji Mohd Fozi and Lance Corporal Mohammad Raffi emerged champions of the Men’s Doubles event after they defeated Staff Sergeant Seri Puspa and Corporal Murni 2-0 (21-19, 21-14) in the final match.
Senior Inspector Muhammad Kenny and Mohd Yusaini took third Place.
Deputy Superintendent Haji Justin bin Haji Yacob, Acting Chairman of Branch A, presented the prizes.
