HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended the Arab Islamic American Summit at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh on Sunday.
His Majesty was welcomed at the conference centre by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Majesty then proceeded to a luncheon hosted by His Majesty King Salman.
After the luncheon, His Majesty joined a group photograph with His Majesty King Salman; Donald J Trump, President of the United States of America; as well as other heads of states and governments from the other Arab and Islamic countries.
His Majesty then proceeded to the conference hall together with other leaders to commence the Arab Islamic American Summit.
The conference began with a titah from His Majesty King Salman, as the host of the summit.
This was followed by a speech from Donald J Trump, and speeches from heads of states and governments of participating countries.
Later in the day, His Majesty left Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after attending the Arab Islamic American Summit.
Before leaving the hotel, a Doa Selamat was recited by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
