LIM Fung emerged as the hero for Little Wonder Enterprise after shooting three consecutive three pointers and also a clutch free-throw to send his team into the final of the GRÂND Veteran Open yesterday night by defeating Fitness Zone 65-63 in the semi final.
Both team struggled in the offence throughout the match, however Fitness Zone dominated the match and was leading 49-41 heading into the fourth quarter.
Led by Lim Fung and Ang Han Then, a resurgent Little Wonder Enterprise erased the deficit and managed to hold off Fitness Zone for the win.
After the win, Lim Fung in an interview said, “We were lucky to get away with the win today and remained undefeated for the whole tournament.
“In the crucial moment, we followed the set play given and executed perfectly to overcome the deficit and win.”

He hopes to carry the momentum to the final on Wednesday night at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court.
Point guard of the Fitness Zone team said, “They played a good game today however they lack players who can make plays.”
Fitness Zone’s R Arabia enjoyed a high scoring night with 19 points, while Ho Poh San contributed four three pointers.
