THE Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through its Syariah Affairs Department held a charity activity called 4th Halawah Ramadhan Charity Project in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan recently.
Acting Director of Syariah Affairs, Hajah Zakiah binti Haji Taib, led the activity. Officers and staff of the Syariah Affairs Department donated money and daily basic necessities to six underprivileged families from Mukim Lumapas and Pengkalan Batu.
The activity aimed to promote the spirit of helping fellow Muslims and to get blessings through charity work, particularly during the month of Ramadhan.
Acting Assistant Director of Syariah Affairs, Haji Saharuddin bin Haji Patra, senior officers, officers;,and staff from the Syariah Affairs Department were also present.
